Generating robust evidence in CMHDs is limited by challenges in capturing meaningful change over time, including limited sensitivity of standard measures such as PHQ-9 and GAD-7, variation in how symptoms change over time that complicates phenotyping, and barriers to consistent data capture driven by stigma, privacy concerns, and fragmented care pathways. As a result, symptom and functional change are often difficult to reliably detect and interpret across research and care settings.
Identify where digital measures can complement clinical outcome assessments in trial design and endpoint selection
Apply digital measures for phenotyping in common mental health disorder trials to define subgroups and assess longitudinal change
